Terry Blain, a Professional Fine Art Photographer from the Carlisle, Pennsylvania area has over 25 years of fine art and professional experience. Terry has expanded her business into boudoir fine art portraitures that uses subtle lighting, great posing and compositions in creating beautiful fine art pictures. Boudoir photography is an art form that is a part of our past history and done in an artistic, elegant form and in good taste. Must be eighteen (18) years or older to open this site.

Terry welcomes high school seniors and families in the Central PA area including: Mt. Holly Springs, Boiling Springs, Mechanicsburg, Shermansdale, Enola, Camp Hill, Newville, Newburg, Shippensburg, Dillsburg and Chambersburg.
Awards that Terry has received from The Professional Photographer's Association (PPA) of Pennsylvania include the 2006 and 2009 Print Competition awards in the category of group portraits. In 2008, she received the James B. Schriever Memorial Trophy for a print entitled “Upside Down”. The Schriever trophy is considered to be among the most prestigious awards given by the PPA of PA. To be considered, a photo must meet 12 elements and be accepted by a panel of jurors before it becomes a “merit print”. However, the winning print is selected by popular vote among all the photographer's peers at the state convention. In 2008 and 2009, the PPA International Association granted her the honor of having two prints entered into their prestigious "Loan Collection". The Loan Collection is a book of special prints that have been selected by a group of judges from the PPA. The prints become the property of the PPA and are displayed throughout the country. In 2010, she was honored to be selected as the winner of Best Portrait of a Group in PA and received the Kodak Gallery Award for Photographic Excellence in PA.

In 2011, the Professional Photographers of Pennsylvania, Inc held their 74th Annual Convention. She was the only photographer to be awarded entry into the Club of Excellence because she had four prints which together scored over 320 points, and each print received a blue ribbon. In addition, she was honored with the Image Maker of The Year Award. This honor is given to one Pennsylvania Photographer each year. During this same event, one of her images was awarded the Best Portrait of a Woman.

At the 75th Annual Convention in 2012 Terry received her Pennsylvania Photographer’s Degree Award. At that time she was also presented with the following awards: Best Portrait of Man (Village Smithy), Best Portrait of Woman (Lover’s Lament), Kodak Gallery Award (image of man – Village Smithy), Kodak Gallery Award (image of woman – Lover’s Lament), LexJet Sunset Award (Village Smithy), and the Image- Maker of the Year Award (print case with the highest total score with all four images receiving a blue ribbon, and the Robert D. Golding Award Best of Show Memorial Trophy, in honor of the late Robert D. Golding. This award is given to the photographer who scored the highest on their image.

In January, 2013 Terry was honored to receive her Master’s Degree in Photography from the Professional Photographers of America. In order to be awarded this degree she had to earn 25 merits through competition and education.

Terry’s specialties include color fine art oil portraiture, as well as black and white portraits.
